More NKF goodness
Jerry Lim shows us that there are peanuts, and then there are peanuts. (via mrs budak)
Agagooga says the current public outcry over the NKF reminds him of Communist China.
Mr Wang Zhen, whose opinion I also respect a lot, says I missed the point, and also gives a great tutorial on legal procedure.
Lancerlord discovers the NKF is really hot, so hot that on Technorati, it is now in the top ten searches.

Well, I hope this can stop really soon. You see, Durai is really an asshole. But the patients in there are not. It would be the best if this can be resolved peacefully as in, Durai loses his job and someone diplomat and capable takes over.
Most importantly, the patients have to benefit from the donation.

AND THE MOST EXPENSIVE FOOD IN SINGAPORE IS...
*drum rolls*
PEANUTS
Don't think too lowly of this small nut. It is worth 600,000 SGD.
In other news, the Peanut is fast replacing the Dollar as the nation's official currency. Consistent with the nation's infatuation with statistics and erm... more statistics?, everything on the island-state is now measured in Peanut units. An average middle-management executive earning an annual salary of S$60,000 now claims that he earns a 10%-Peanut salary per annum. Other notable variations of the Peanut unit includes cross-references to physical parts of the Peanut, e.g. "My annual salary is only half the Peanut shell", "Wah lau eh! The blardy C.O.E. is now a quarter of a Peanut seed", "Na Beh... I'm paid less than Peanut skin for this project."
NTUC Fairprice and grocery stores in the Republic are now reportedly selling each pack of imported Peanuts for more than 3 million SGD. Jewellery shops have since filed a complaint to the Consumers Association of Singapore, claiming that their customers have been poached by unfair practices on the part of NTUC. Rich tai-tai's have been congregating at the Peanuts section of the NTUC supermarkets, shopping for high-quality premium Peanuts.
The service industry have also been rejuvenated by the Peanut revolution. Peanut experts are now engaged by the rich and famous to examine newly-acquired Peanuts. There are now services provided to preserve Peanuts indefinitely.
Due to the scarcity of land in Singapore, the Government have identified a few locations for large-scale Peanut production. It is also reported that the Government is now deliberating whether to stick to the originally agreed Casino plan or to convert Sentosa and the Marina Bay Area into agro-tech farms specialising in the cultivation and production of Peanuts. Citizens interviewed are said to be supportive of the Peanut-plan.

If you cheat the public, you should be charged. The authority should take this seriously. Resign? where got enough.

on gssq's comment, i hope?
to another reader, perhaps, it would seem more obvious that balderdash refers to another government.
