Bill O'Reilly gets assed kicked by 16-year-old
Bill O'Reilly calls 16-year-old Jesse Lange a "pinhead" and tries to browbeat him into agreeing with him on his Fox TV talkshow, The O'Reilly Factor, only to have the boy read out the transcript of a school talk Bill was quoting out of context. (Youtube text link)
What a well-prepared and articulate 16-year-old! The boy did not even flinch when he was attacked by one of American TV's most confrontational talkshow hosts. Classy and gutsy stuff.

» This was the Week that Was, Vol. 2 from Sephy's Platzish
This has been an interesting week, for sure. I've rediscovered my passion for "driving in circles". The story is certainly an interesting one, and somewhat of a long one. Check back later this week fo... [Read More]

Hah, that's fantastic. O'Reilly's a bully he gets his way basically by shouting down everyone who disagrees with him. I've seen him embarrassed that way on the air a couple times, and it never gets boring.

I am much more impressed by his composure when O'Reilly throws out his pathetic excuse for a retort. I dont think I would be able to hold my anger down when facing such an obnoxious and loud character.

What an excellent moment! I hate Bill O'Reilly and others of his ilk, so am glad someone -- especially a smart 16 year old kid -- gave it to him!

"I'm going to encourage you to have sex and I'm going to encourage you to use drugs appropriately," said UCLA Clinical Psychologist Joel Becker to applause during the April discussion at Boulder High School. "Why I'm going to take that position is because you're going to do it anyway."
Totally inapproapriate speech to a high school crowd. Nothing out of that 16-year old pinhead is at all impressive.

Bill O'Reilly is an idiot.
I don't think that speech as inappropriate at all. Here in the United States, practically almost all the teens have tried drugs and had sex.
I think that Jesse Lange's main point was to show Bill O'Reilly's hypocrisy as he had written something similar in his book, "The O'Reilly Factor for Kids".
But the bottom line is, don't watch Fox News.

That's why I watch The Colbert Report!

"Here in the United States, practically almost all the teens have tried drugs and had sex."
And that is a good thing? Something we should all take pride in? And to be cheered on?

Do you know how much the US goverment spent on curbing adolescent sex? That's tax payer's money, mind you. And these kids are going everywhere making out with anybody just like dogs do.

I never said it was a good thing. I'm just stating what's happening in reality.
I don't think it's right at all, but at least what these 2 speakers tried to do was to warn the students of the consequences of these activities, since it's pretty inevitable that they'll do it in the future.

I don't know how much money the US government is spending on trying to curb adolescent sex, but whatever the amount, it clearly isn't working.
Perhaps they should spend the money on educating the young people on safe sex instead.

With our huge crush on anything American, I think we'll have the same situation in the not so distant future.

One can always have a difference in opinion, but for O'Reilly to have quoted ad verbatim and get it so wrong is inexcusable!- no one these days has any excuse to be wrong factually.
I heard the program researcher was sacked directly after that interview for failing to do a thorough background check.
pie all over the face and he deserves it!

Beautiful! I love it when a right-winger gets pie on his face.
Teens will be teens. Teaching abstinence, which has been waved around as a "viable" alternative to proper sex education (I scoff in its general direction) is like forcing "Just hold it" potty training on babies. Abuses the baby, and doesn't do a damned thing.

if u take notice of american tv news channels. some channels like fox news are very biased and offer news in a slanted perspective. CNN is the best channel for unlatered news with no slanted opinions.

Bill O'Reilly is an internationally recognized IDIOT in the same league as Bush. His is right-winged to the point of blindness and inanity.

shouldn't the title read "ass kicked"?
