Cycle safer with Young PAP
Some of you may have been disappointed that you could not cycle at the Workers' Party 50th Anniversary Mass Cycling event because the authorities felt that "outdoor gatherings by parties have the potential to cause a public disturbance".
You may be pleased to know that you can always join the Young PAP on their Night Cycling events. They seem to have no problem getting permits for their outdoor events. As we all know, when outdoor cycling events are done at night, there is a smaller likelihood of people who may stop you in the middle of your cycling in order to debate with you, thereby causing a public nuisance.
Looking at YPAP's calendar, they even have an Amazing Race event coming. Another safe, outdoor event organised by the youth wing of the ruling party.

Let's sign up for their outdoor activities, then start a political debate or wear brown T-shirt during the event. See what mata says.

Gosh this is exactly what Wolfgang stated - PAP based programs and activities "promote social well-being and a sense of community". Non-PAP based programs and activities "are used by political parties/special interest groups to promote their cause" and "have the potential to disrupt community and family life". Now we have real "proof"

I think a way around this is for Workers' Party to start their own youth wing for social-type events. Then they may be able to get around the "no political events to be held outdoors" rule..

It seems highly interesting that we're seeing double standards from certain of our political parties. Perhaps, they feel that youthful individuals do not have the potential to cause a public nuisance.
Certainly, cycling among youths is very different stylistically and technically from cycling with the worker's party. Yes indeed.

I wonder how their Amazing Race game will be run. Who will be the fastest to retire with glory and reach the destination of being given a plushy job at a stat board or GIC?
