So HBO is finally showing Sex and the City in Singapore and what does the slogan say?
"Love is worth the wait".
Oh, family drama! Aiyah, early don't say. And all this time, I thought the show was about single women having active sex lives! Why didn't Singapore Government allow this earlier then?

By the way, has anybody noticed the Sex and the City ads at our bus stops? They come with a picture of Sarah Jessica Parker set against a warm hue of happy colours, and a huge SLOGAN - “Love is worth the wait”. I was minding my own business on the bus when I saw that, and it puzzled me for a while, unclear of its relevance to the series. I then figured it had to be the family censors’ bright solution to counteracting ‘decadent American culture’, since of course, it is not right for unmarried women to lead active sex lives. Nobody says a thing about unmarried men.
