In a shock development, Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots, came out of nowhere to snatch victory from the two US presidential candidates, Bush and Kerry. Prime won the US presidential race with 500 Electoral College votes from the swing state of Cybertron.
Prime has sworn to continue the fight against the Decepticons, saying "We wage a war to save civilization itself. We did not seek it. But, we will fight it. And we will prevail. Freedom is the right of all sentient beings..."
Singer and noted social commentator, singer Britney Spears, was the first to congratulate Prime on his win, saying "I think we should just trust our president in every decision that he makes and we should just support that. He is after all, the keeper of the awesome Autobot Matrix of Leadership, an eternal symbol of hope in the battle for peace in the Universe."
