Take the Mass Rapid Transit to win a car... here's your chance to escape the clutches of public transportation, people.
On the same topic, from Reader Jason about a free site by Kelvin Koo:
Find it troublesome to check if you won in the SMRT Ride-for-free promo?
I believe that some of you would have heard about SMRT’s current promotion being mentioned in the newspapers recently. The hoo-ha was that SMRT was not making enough effort to inform the winners. We are expected to check their website or a small sign at the stations to see if we have won. How many of us actually do that!
I found it troublesome to keep checking if I am a lucky winner for the SMRT Ride-for-free promo.
The fact that 3 winners have already forfeited their prize (88-day free rides) is probably testament to that. In fact, many of my friends did not even know they have to manually check the poster at the stations or the SMRT website to know if they have won.
As such, I created the website www.rideforfree.info: to make all our lives a little easier.
All it does is allow you to input your EZ-link card number into the system. When it find a match with the results from SMRT, it will then notify you. Thats all. Plain and simple. Emails are not farmed for any commercial use.
Let me know if there are any problems or bugs in the system.
PS: the site is not affiliated to SMRT in any way. Just something I did at first to make my own family's life easy.
