Update: Ok, so far, I have been told that the following organisations cannot get to SPG's blog: CPF Board, SAF, ST Electronics, LTA. Those that can: EDB, IDA.
I just received word that Sarong Party Girl's blog has been blocked by Gahmen proxies, which means esteemed members of our Civil Service and Stat Boards cannot access her blog.
Can anyone verify this?
Why? Gahmen scared civil servants get corrupted by her nipples and her sexy stories issit?

Mail Order Bride gave me the link to a Japanese AV Star's blog (mostly SFW except for a stray nipple, er, no kids please). It is the official blog of Yua Aida, porn actress (this is so going to pump up my Google visitors). My interest is purely academic, of course.
The funniest bits were the comments left by a Vincent from Singapore.
Like:
you look cute in the photo.. but the hairdo looks kind of funky.. is it a new movie you are making? what a busy life you have.. don't overstrain yourself... you have a boyfriend? ha.. hope he takes care of you well..
And under this post entitled "This year it is the first sea in Japan", Yua says, "However it was cold still, the funny", and Vincent dedicates a poem to her.

One Malaysia blogger returns home while another goes on holiday. But before minishorts left for Kuantan, she did a Blog Rating System post (The rating terminology used is Malaysian, ours would be G, PG, NC16, M18 and R21).
This was in response to an email she received from a concerned mother, who held her partially responsible for letting her profane and unsuitable blog be featured in The Star newspaper, thereby allowing her two young adolescent children to discover minishorts' blog and to see it as a role model blog.
From the email she received:
I feel you do bear some of the responsibilities for this. By allowing yourself and your website to be highlighted in a national newspaper, you have knowingly and willingly allowed children to have access to your website which you clearly know contained unsuitable materials for young minds.
Eh, how come my blog is 18PL (like our R21)? My site is very pure, ok? Where got sex, violence and profanities? Ok, there was that one naked penguin photo, but I am certain my blog is Disney!
And in case you are wondering what minishorts was talking about when she insists I am not 12, it was in response to my comment here. Heheh.

Lately, Isaac has taken to carrying his backpack when he goes out. He does not let anyone take it off.
He must have seen his big sister carry one to school every day, and probably thinks it make him look important.
He has a bunch of new words now, like "air-pane" (airplane), which Grandpa ("yeh-yeh") taught him because he kept pointing to aircraft and calling them "bird".
His other words are pik-chur, ba-nana, papa, car (followed by a "vooom"), dog (followed by a "wo-wo") chie chie (sister), mum-mum (for food and for mommy), ishh (fish) and the sound of a sheep ("aa-aa-aa").
To the right is my fish tank with its new inhabitants. The former inhabitants died due to an unfortunate incident. So now I have schools of guppies (the more expensive hardier sort, not the $2 for a bag sort), Cardinal Tetras, Rummy-nose Tetras, Emperor Tetras, and a fish I cannot the remember the name of (looks like a swordtail but is short and fat).

If there is one thing Kenny Sia learned today, is that his Singapore fans are nuts about him.
He thought, maybe I will just swing by Singapore secretly after my Project Petaling Street blogger's meeting in KL. Incidentally, Kenny won the Blog Of The Year Award there. Congrats!
I don't think he was prepared for the harem reception that awaited him. The ladies all wanted to take photos with him, what a stud!
Miyagi and I made arrangements to meet him for dinner and drinks. But before we could even hook up with him, the resourceful chap found his own way to Hideout (and even took picture with lovely boss lady, lucky dude).
There, he met Xiaxue (she came to take photo with her husband mah) and her gang.
Also there was the lovely Finicky Feline (who guessed that he would be at Hideout and came to surprise him whom Kenny wanted to surprise), Scarlett Ting (she touched his butt!), Mail Order Bride aka Juicypout (whose bf, Patrick Chng of the Oddfellows was playing a set), Makanguru, newly arrowed spokeman of the Cowboy Bar Airhole, Sandralicious (OMG, what were you doing plucking Kenny's leg hair?), Tripleperiod (who looked very much in love), Postmaster-General (thanks for the drink!), Sassyjan, Ruok and Daniel.
And to top it off, a fight broke out at one of the clubs and the cops came. The cops entered the back door of the suspected club, while the patrons involved in the fight opened the shutters in front and left the place. So exciting.

So hor, if the Americans are okay with reading Singlish in their American comics, why does the Singapore Gahmen have a problem with Singaporeans speaking Singlish?

The series is about Barbara Gordon (ex Batgirl) who leads a covert- all girls team. Black Canary and Wildcat land in Singapore to infiltrate the local drug lord (yes he probably has more drugs to cover a 20 cent coin). The drug lord speaks typical comic-book-oriental-speak. But for some strange reason, one local is speaking Singlish. I thought it was pretty cool. The Singlish is quite spot on too (except "thwop").
Later Black Canary and Wildcat get into a bit of trouble at Changi Airport. [must be new Budget Terminal, see the cheapskate tower, liddat how to win Best Airport? -mb]
Notice the car is still a left-hand drive? So American one.[also hor, the car inside got TV screen which is mounted in a way that contravenes LTA rules! -mb]
Also somehow the SAF managed to get a tank just outside the airport (see right side of the panel). Maybe on the way to Australia training? [got what, we always have tanks at Changi one! My father drives a Toyota 1.6-litre Armoured Personnel Carrier! -mb]
The RSAF planes however lost it. The flag is wrong color (purple flag = gay Singapore? Haha) and the crescent and stars on the wing looks wrong (I don’t recall seeing any RSAF wings with this but then again, I’ve forgotten what we DO have on our wings).
Incidentally the RSAF pilots dialog are in brackets meaning its translated from a foreign language. [Hokkien? -mb]
Ok firstly RSAF pilots will speak English (some will even slang!) and secondly, see how SINGLISH no need to translate but others need to? I rest my case!

Saw him in the evening and he was acting really strangely. I went shopping in the afternoon with the girls and I did turn up a bit late so thought it might be that. The bar was really crowded and loud so I suggested we go somewhere quieter to talk. He was still very subdued and distracted so I suggested we go somewhere nice to eat. All through dinner he just didn't seem himself; he hardly laughed and didn't seem to be paying any attention to me or to what I was saying. I just knew that something was wrong. He dropped me back home and I wondered if he was going to come in; he hesitated but followed. I asked him again if there was something the matter but he just half shook his head and turned the television on. After about 10 minutes of Silence, I said I was going upstairs to bed. I put my arms around him and told him that I loved him deeply. He just gave a sigh and a sad sort of smile. He didn't follow me up but later he did, and I was surprised when we made love. He still seemed distant and a bit cold, and I started to think that he was going to leave me and that he had found someone else. I cried myself to sleep.

It was a quiet evening, too quiet. We started to wonder where Isaac was.
On the kitchen table, the dinner was waiting for the wife and me. But someone else had other plans.
Stealthily, like a Commando Toddler (Snake Company), Isaac made his way to the kitchen, then the dining table, and then, with skills gained from training for 20 months since he came into existence 20 months ago, he lifted the food cover and crawled beneath.
Under the cover of er, pink netting, Isaac helped himself to the feast of luncheon meat before him. Not just any luncheon meat, mind you. Ma Ling brand luncheon meat.
Quietly he ate, until one of us, curious at his radio silence (he normally tears around the house making a racket), went to look for him. And found him in the kitchen, underneath the cover, merrily eating away.
In fact, he even helped himself to a second piece and ate that, while holding the half-eaten first slice.
So we had to lock him out of the kitchen, bawling his head off, while the missus and I had dinner. This is all Grandma and her feed-him-from-the-adult-table's fault. Sigh.
