Rebecca MacKinnon, "recovering TV reporter-turned-blogger" (she was based in China and Japan for CNN), interviews me over Skype for a Global Voices Online podcast. I really enjoyed the 35-minute chat with her.
You gotta love a technology that allows you to have a free international conversation, she was in Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA, and I was in Singapore. And it was an internet phone call clear enough to be a podcast/radio show. Grober, I tell ya.
We talk about the Acidflask incident, the Great Singapore Blogger Conspiracy, the upcoming Blogger Conference in July, our metablog Tomorrow.sg, Singlish and my my podcasts, Star Wars in Singlish and the way blogs are changing the Singapore media landscape.
Go listen to my interview at the Global Voices site (35 minutes, 30MB).
P.S. If you are wondering, I used my new rig — the Behringer mixer and the Shure SM-58 mic — for this podcast with Rebecca. Hence the superior sound. I am looking forward to using it for future podcasts of my own.
