I would like to address some recent requests to allow you, the cream of Singapore's crop, to start playing the sport of chatek competitively. For those of you who do not know what chatek is, it is a sport played with a chatek, a piece of rubber with feathers nailed into it.
I am afraid that I have to say no, because chatek is not a core sport, unlike rugby and swimming.
P.S. I know it is actually called "chapteh" "capteh" but you know lah, Singlish is liddat one, many of us grew up calling it "chatek".
