We ran, we shot and we ducked for 4 rounds each and by the middle of the outing, even the ammo box we were supposed to drag back to the base felt like a ton of bricks.
It was great fun but dammit it was tiring. Like playing Counterstrike for real. Even taking cover also can get shot.
And in the heat of a firefight even the volunteer camera man in the bright yellow Corrective Work Order vest got shot. Hello! Uncle go in and take picture for you guys you still shoot me? I is neutral leh! And I'm not wearing the protective vests you players were wearing ok? I felt every bit of that paintball round on my left chest ok? Next time don't take photo for you liao. Someone else can volunteer to be war journalist. Haha!
The new guns were good, no jamming and shot straight. You can feel the rounds whizzing by and feel the sickening thuds on the plastic wall you took cover behind.
And even though the game lasted on average 5 minutes, they were very intense minutes indeed.
We are certainly gonna organise another fragfest paintball outing with the guys and gals at the office.
"Both targets down! Get the box! Suppression fire! Cover the ammo box retriever! Someone take out the shooter at the bridge!"
