Update: The clicking site is down, collapsing under the strain of the Estonian Persian forces, I am sure. Time for post-battle beers at everyone's favourite Spartan drinking hole, The Double Melon Garden! Last man at the Hot Gates buys!
-------
Fellow boliao Singapore brothers of the Net, I have received an appeal from a warrior from SgForum to aid in the battle of the clicks. Singapore initially did well in an online clicking contest but we have fallen behind due to immense pressure from larger nations.
Their clicks may blot out the sun, but we Singaporeans will show them we are even more boliao! We will not back down from participating in this battle, brothers! Sisters who click well also welcome!
Go to clickclickclick.com and Click!
Note: looks like their server is currently down, maybe we click them until spoil liao. But never mind, when their server is up again, go forth and click for Singapore!
More details in this forum thread.
In the meantime, you may wish to read this eloquent appeal from SingaporeTyrannosaur of SgForum:
Hey there Mr. Brown, I'm afraid I bring bad news, but this is very important.
I am SingaporeTyrannosaur of SgForums, and we fight a battle for Singapore.
For the past three days a few valiant members of the online Singaporean community, deeming themselves SgSpartans, have been defending the hard-won top position in an international clicking contest, which can be found here:
clickclickclick.com
The idea of the battle is to click as many times as possible for your nation, and to do so one can fight this wall using the mouse button (which is highly not recommended), or use scripts such as pasting “javascript:for
(var i=0; i<100; i++){ ck(ckcnt=10); javascript:sc(false);};” in the address browser to automate this process and make it a lot faster.
When we first started, Singapore was all the way at the bottom of the list, while the odds seemed insurmountable, the small band of Singaporeans which started clicking soon attracted a larger number which managed to win the day for Singapore, in Sgforums, we are know as the SgSpartans, as we the few stood against the hordes of many nations. And SgForums is not alone in this battle, for many other SgSpartans have also joined from HardWareZone and other forums.
However it seems that in time the Estonians and Norwegians have caught onto the game and are attacking Singapore’s slim lead of a few thousands with new and improved methods (of which we do not know) that are surely making us lose our control of the top position. It seems that their mouse-clicks can blot out the sun.
In doing so they have also invaded our forums, spied on us, insulted us and promised us defeat and devastation. While the SgSpartans have held out so far, we cannot hope to hold this position forever without the full involvement of the Singaporean online community in this.
Given our advantage in numbers in terms of connected population, an organized online community and the like over the Estonians and Norwegians in the internet, victory can be assured if the more Singaporean net dwellers became SgSpartans.
So now I come to you, wise blogger, as a humble soldier fighting for our nation’s honour to request that you tell the tales of our battle, that if a few SgSpartans could strike such terror in the hearts of many, what more
would they feel if they faced a legion of SgSpartans?
Already the exploits of the SgSpartans have raised much talk among the Norwegians and Estonians who have never heard of the humble little tribe of Singapore, and our defiance in the face of their demands for us to submit and surrender have only angered them even more, and they intend to throw
everything they have at us.
Hence, I SingaporeTyrannosaur, a SgSpartan of the SgForum legion, is begging you Mr. Brown, O wise and kind blogger and greatly influential among the Singaporean net community, to appeal for more people to pick up the SgSpartan cause and also for those with the talents and arcane knowledge to equip us with better tools to wage this war with.
I beg of you to seriously consider my proposal.
Please lah, support support leh!
