Lift security cameras and screens just got installed in my apartment block's lifts. I thought that's what the windows on the lift doors were for. But I guess we need something way more high-tech to spend Town Council money on. And of course nobody asked if residents would feel uncomfortable with the loss of privacy.
Hey, how about using those cameras in a more useful way, like preventing bicycle theft at MRT stations?
