Currently there is an M1 network outage all over the the island. Rectification is underway. Please don't call their overwhelmed Hotline. (Oh wait, you can't. Muahahahaha!)
They had better repair it soon. Teenagers who cannot SMS are threatening to rampage.
Some teens are now using a strong synaptic link to the Hive Mind to communicate.
It apparently is not affecting all M1 users. Just those on the M1 Sibei Suay package. It looks like my wife and I were on the Sibei Heng package. Both our lines seem to be working.
I may have slept through the worst of the outage this morning, to be honest. I was up late last night gamin— er, reading a book.
The outage concerns me greatly. Somewhere out there, there are M1 users who cannot receive my important tweets about things like "I think I should take a dump now."
I think M1 should seriously consider setting up a twitter account for official updates about network status and other customer service updates. It beats having irate customers restarting their mobile phones 10 times thinking it is due to their phone and not the network.
It also beats having irate customers flooding your call centre with queries and complaints.
I have to thank the 29,000 twitter followers of mine for being such hardcore retweeters and spreading the message of the network downtime. I love my readers, man.
But I had to turn off my iPhone Notifications to even write this post or do anything else, because of the alerts from the retweets.
Ok, turning the Notifications back on… NOW.
