This is the Sydney Opera House like you've never seen her before. When they said Vivid Sydney, they really meant Vivid. The city is illuminated with light installations in so many places, I didn't know where to start taking photos. I spent a long time just staring at the Opera House to see the colours change.
SPARC, the lighting professionals event that is part of Vivid Sydney, also kicked off with a bang. I think people enjoyed looking at the bartenders spewing fire out of their mouths. It reminded me of the How to Train Your Dragon movie I watched on the A380 flight here.
This installation by Singapore's Angela Chong caught my eye too. Located along Circular Quay, near the Sydney Opera House, you could not resist sitting on it.
Or in my case, PLANKING on it.
Some of you thought I was floating on light. Well, Sydney certainly is.
