Note to self: Skinny bicycle tires + rain + wet fancy blue mosaic tiles + left turn = BUANG.
Don't worry, only my dignity was hurt.
Other surfaces I have learned to avoid on wet days include the red tiles on the roads, double yellow lines (that paint surface gets very slippery when wet) and grilled drain covers (even on dry days your tires can get caught in them).
