Is it just me or has ST election coverage returned to the old ways, pre-GE2011, since Warren Fernandez took over?
This kind of obvious, kiddie-quality, slanted nonsense made me laugh out loud when I saw the front page of the Straits Times.
It's like reading the newspaper when it covered the elections in the seventies and eighties.
One of my readers said, "I can't bring myself to read the ST these days without the urge to set fire to it."
You can have all the layout redesigns in the world but thinking readers won't read your paper if they can smell the old "nation-building" ways coming back.
Except to laugh at it, maybe.
