When we saw this commercial, the wife and I had exactly the same thought: The woman complain to MoM hotline and the boss so happy ah. Where got such thing one?
I also think the cleaning auntie in the commercial should go and teach English instead. Her enunciation is so good, she is wasting her time in the hawker centre.
We learn that when you get your pay on time, and your CPF too, your hair will no longer be disheveled but it will be neat and tidy.
And, er, how come security guard must be Indian one ah?
My friend, Gwee quipped: "I bet every Singaporean knows the unfilmed sequel to this ad."
So here is my version of Part 2:
Malay friend: "Auntie, why so sad?"
Auntie: "I dunno why, after I called MoM hotline and bao toh my boss, and got my salary and CPF last month, my boss told me he don't need me anymore. He said people return their trays already so need less cleaning aunties."
New Colleague: "你好!我是如花,这里的新清洁工人!"
