The wife and I went to watch Jersey Boys at the Sands Theatre, MBS on its gala night and I have to say, we really enjoyed the musical about Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
The music was the best part of the show, and we found ourselves singing along with the infectious tunes. The musical won four 2006 Tony Awards including Best Musical. I didn't manage to catch it the last time I was in New York City so I was happy to see it here.
You should have seen the cheers and applause from the audience when "Can’t Take My Eyes Off Of You" came on: BA NA BA NA BA NA NA NA, BA NA BA NA NAAAAAAAAAAAAA!
The show managed to capture this feel-good era of music and did it with a lot of heart.
