First of all, I'd like to congratulate Director Anthony Chen for winning Best New Film at Cannes for his feature film, Ilo Ilo.
It is an awesome achievement to win at Cannes.
That said, I'd like to address the nutters out there who are now suggesting that because the film was funded by the MDA, it is some kind of pro-foreigner propaganda.

You win something big yourselves first then talk.
Besides, he managed to get funding from gahmen leh! It should be doubly celebrated!
