If the SCDF needs any extra speakers to boost the reach of the SCDF Public Warning System siren, they can borrow my kids.
They already know how to make the siren sounds.
In my car.
At my ears.
The SCDF will be happy to know we dutifully tuned in to the car radio at 12.05pm today when the test sirens went off, to listen to the instructions.
My friend Brenda told me at least my kids sounded off in the car. Her brood made the siren sounds while they were taking public transport.
Marcus said his kids wanted him to evacuate them down to the open carpark… down 13 floors of stairs! "Can't use the lift in an emergency", his kids said.
Well trained, our kids all are.
