The TraceTogether app was just updated to v2.4 and it now supports Group Check-ins like you could do with the SingPass app. (Caveat to take note. Group Check-in using TT is not applicable for places that are TT-SafeEntry only. You still need to individually check in.)
And also finally, SIRI SHORTCUTS!
Now you just need ONE app for both SafeEntry and for anonymous proximity data tracking. Sweet.
#iOS14 Pro Tip (Updated for TraceTogether)
1. Go to the TraceTogether app to activate Siri Shortcuts for SafeEntry.
2. Go to Settings ➡️ Accessibility ➡️ Touch ➡️ Back Tap, and turn it on.
3. Assign TT Scan SafeEntry to Double Tap, and TT SafeEntry Check-out to Triple Tap.
4. You’re welcome.
Note: Back Tap only works on iPhone 8 and newer, and you’ll need iOS14.
If you don’t wish to use Back Tap to trigger the SafeEntry Shortcuts, you can also use the Shortcuts Widget and pin it on your Home Screen. That works too.
Note: Even though the iOS 14 update is available for first-generation iPhone SE, the iPhone 6S, the iPhone 7, and the iPhone 7 Plus, none of these models are compatible with the Back Tap feature. So, you'll need either:
-iPhone 8 Plus
-iPhone Xs Max
-iPhone 11 Pro
-iPhone 11 Pro Max
-iPhone SE 2020
-12 Pro Max
Note 2: Make sure you open the Shortcuts app too. Sometimes you have to do that once, if you have never opened it before. And then restart your phone. Then the new shortcuts will show up.
